MESA's 41st annual meeting Book Exhibit will be housed in 517ABC on Level 5 of the Palais des congrés. 75 or so exhibitors will offer the latest books in Middle East studies, videos, software, and related items of interest to those engaged in academic pursuits. As well, the Book Exhibit is open to the public. We anticipate a very successful 2007 meeting. To ensure trouble-free participation for our exhibitors, MESA is working with Mendelssohn Livingston Custom Broker and AdVantage Conference & Expo.

Customs
MESA has been granted by the Canadian Government "Portal-to-Portal" customs clearance for this event. Under this system, customs clearance of the various exhibitors' shipments will be processed after the goods have been delivered to the event site, and not at the border, inland customs warehouse, or the airport. Canadian Customs officials will provide on-site service for this event.

Shipment
Book Exhibitors' shipments will be handled the same as in the years past. Book Exhibitors will ship their merchandise directly to a warehouse which will be listed in the Exhibitor's packet from AdVantage Conference & Expo. The shipment will be delivered directly to the convention center.

Currency Exchange
Exhibotirs wshould be prepared to conduct business in both US and Canadian dollars. Exchange rates for the day will be posted at the entry of the Book Exhibit Hall. There are several websties with exchange rate calculators (www.x-rates.com/calculator.html).

Passports
All individuals traveling by air into Canada will need to have a passport.
